The Tawang Assembly of God Church hosted the 2nd batch of audition for the incoming Talent Show for Missions that was organized through the initiatives of SCCDC Section 3 Youth Director Ptr. Oliver Caticat.
The first batch of the audition was held last October 12 at MHSLC, Km6 La Trinidad, Benguet. The next three auditions (3) will be held at Lamut, Kapangan, and Puguis on Oct. 26, Nov. 2 and 9, respectively.
All entries that will be qualified during these auditions will go into the semi-finals scheduled on November 23, 2014.
Designed as fundraising activity for missions, the said talent show will feature varied performances from different churches in an effort to raise funds for the support to the Local Missions of the Assemblies of God Section 3.
All of this is borne out of an effort to get the members from different churches to interact with missions and create awareness for the existing mission activities. In the past, SCCDC Section 3 Youth raised funds through Battle of the Bands, but now they are going for something bigger. "We planned to organize another Battle of the Bands but we would like to try something different this year -- something that involves any ages, and showcase a variety of the performances", Ptr. Caticat said.
